Certification program was written by internationally recognized interior designer Ron Renner, ASID, to provide professional training and testing of Interior Decorators and was designed to allow the talented (novice or experienced) decorator to earn credentials for the purpose of pursuing a career as a “Certified Interior Decorator.”

The program is a complete Interior Decorating course with Certification.

C.I.D. Workbook Program

This program consists of eight sessions with question and answer reviews after each, a session test, four enjoyable projects, drafting templates, an interior design color wheel, and the printed workbook for future reference. The 50-question final exam which is included is also the Certified International Decorators Entrance Exam.

This version of the course provides interaction with the instructor who will personally critique your work on the hands-on projects, creating the connection between book learning and practical experience. A resource section and a glossary of terms are also included with this course of study. The Workbook Direct Mail Program takes approximately 6-10 weeks. $1495.00.

C.I.D. Online Program

The C.I.D. Certification Online Course is written specifically for the Interior Decorator by Ron Renner, founder and president of Certified Interior Decorators International (C.I.D.). Instruction includes the basics of certification, elements of interior design and decoration, business practice, and “How to Charge for Services.” Teaching also includes the latest information concerning the practice of interior design versus the role of the “Certified Interior Decorator.”

The C.I.D. Certification Program is the ONLY course of study teaching “Interior Decorator Certification” and is the most informative and direct route to C.I.D. Certification.

The Online Interior Decorating Program (the Online Course is iPad compatible) is for those who prefer online studies. Students tend to complete the online course more quickly and grading of the final exam is immediate because it is automated through the website. The Online Program takes approximately 2-6 weeks to complete.
